Season 11 Released Today
Today, October 7, sees the release of The Complete Eleventh Season box set in the USA and Canada. The set was released yesterday in region 2, but those of you living in region 4 will have to wait a bit longer for the set; November 5th, 2008. The set is actually slightly thinner than the preceeding releases, and instead greatly resembles the season 1 box set in thickness. It can be said that while this set is nice to look at, it isn’t very well designed as far as continuity with the older DVD sets goes.
As for the Krusty head box, we see more of the same. Rather than making an entire plastic case as with the previous head boxes, this time around, we see Krusty’s head simply stuck to a piece of cardboard which is then in turn stuck to the regular edition of the set seen above.
The set is a very attractive one, but collectors may not be pleased with such a large change in the design.

I remember on the 5th or 6th October sometime! I’ll probably have it for Christmas!
Got it yesterday:D region 2! It’s a nice change but Don’t like the way the discs are put in the case.
Region 4 is already out at Mexico, I bought it last saturday, and I’m loving it.
As far as I’m aware, its out in the UK. Considering zavvi have been advertising for it to come out today anyways.
Will be buying it soon hopefully, just to keep up the mighty collection.
yeah, zavvi have it. If it’s out here in Ireland it has to be out there. You can get it in HMV too.
I was hopping to see more advertisement. So bad there wasn’t any.
I also did not like the design for the outer box.
The good things is that now we can see the art work for the DVD holders, and I do not have to worry about the DVD plastic holder breaking anymore.
I think this is the season when I started to loose interest. It is still worth watching. The best episode is (Behind the Laughter)
What I liked the most is that now I can watch it in Spanish and still select the deleted scenes. (You could do this before,but only if you selected the English audio channel).
Most of the main stores have it.
Either Amazon (UK) or Play.com had it for pre-order for months.
@Eximus: Why the hell would you want to watch the main show OR the deleted scenes in Spanish. Unless your Spanish (??)

I am. I do prefer to watch them in English, but when I watch them with my family, they prefer to watch it in Spanish.This is when I couldn’t get to the deleted scenes before.
Besides it is funny to hear how the jokes are either improved or screwed in Spanish. They are mostly improved.

We only got titles on “the Simpson show” in Serbia, but there are no deleted scenes, or some other censorship.
Only problem is delaying: On our television we have season 16!
That is very massive delay, but hopefully there are new episodes on internet, so I got some chance to watch newest episodes!
Yea, Hulu is only America, but I know another good site. (I just can’t say it). Sorry, it the rules here.
