Ratings: Wedding For Disaster

Last nights episode ‘Wedding For Disaster’ had 6.58 million viewers. A further 6.50 million viewers watched a rerun of ‘Take My Life, Please’ at 8.30pm, which had 6.8 million viewers just over a month ago. Fox was fourth overall for the night and third among adults 18 – 49. A new Family Guy episode at 9.00 had 8.20 million viewers, while 5.99 million tuned in to watch American Dad at 9.30.

New Episode: Wedding For Disaster

Airs tonight in North America! When Homer and Marge’s marriage turns out to be invalid because Reverend Lovejoy was not licensed at the time, Homer asks Marge to marry him again. But when Homer mysteriously disappears on their wedding day, Bart and Lisa search for answers and are led on a cryptic trail of clues, leading them to Sideshow Bob.

Barack Obama on The Simpsons?

He may be the first black president of the United States, but Barack Obama could make yet more history by becoming the first US president to lend his voice to The Simpsons. Al Jean and James L. Brooks, executive producers behind The Simpsons, are hoping President Obama will agree to lend his voice to an episode of the series.

Fox have today released this new promotional image for April 19 episode ‘The Good, The Sad and the Drugly’. To win the heart of Jenny (guest voice Anne Hathaway) a sweet 5th grade girl, Bart becomes a good samaritan and gives up his prank-pulling days.

Ratings: In The Name Of The Grandfather

A total of 6.15 million viewers tuned in to watch In The Name Of The Grandfather last night, despite its availability on the net all week due to an exclusive screening in the UK/Ireland. The episode attracted 511,000 viewers on Sky 1 in Ireland earlier this week, more than doubling Sky 1′s previous highest audience for any program in Ireland. A further 957,000 watched the episode in the UK.

Ratings: Gone Maggie Gone

Last night’s episode ‘Gone Maggie Gone’ received 5.97 million viewers — beating out last week’s ‘No Loan Again, Naturally’ as second least watched episode of all time. This comes despite Fox’s consistent programming of new episodes, and increase in on-screen advertising throughout the week. But a poor lead-in, an hour of mind-numbing Hole In The Wall, killed any effort Fox had made to bring viewers to the show.
