Promo: Coming To Homerica

The 20th season finale of The Simpsons will air this coming May 17th with the episode “Coming To Homerica”. Fox have released a promotional image for the episode, viewable below.

When nearby Ogdenville’s economy crumbles due to tainted barley discovered in Krusty’s veggie burgers, the unemployed workers of Ogdenville flock to Springfield. After Mayor Quimby closes Springfield’s borders and enlists private citizens to help patrol them, Homer organizes a border patrol group.

    Reminds me almost of the episode where Homer was the police leader chap. Forgot what it was called, embarrasing

    Erm, dunno if its similar in style then. Nice little reference to the credit crunch in there

    Sounds like great episode!
    For a first time in Springfilds history people actually want to come in town, but mayor just wont let them! :)

    And Homer in role being law-and-order with Carl and Lanny? This episode just can’t fail, but I don’t want to be too optimistic: Last episode was also on my A list, and again rates are low…

    i love homer episodes. in my opinion, hes the funniest main character. looks like its going to be a good finale. hope it dosnt dissapoint.

    Even though this is the last episode The Simpsons will be the best and the longest running TV show ever! If you look all the way back to the first episode ‘ THE SIMPSONS ROASTING ON AN OPEN FIRE’ aired on Dec. 17, 1989, The Simpsons has come a very long and great way!

    Might be worth noting that this episode aired on Norways constitutional day, and in the episode they ridicule Norwegian descendents :)
