Season 12 Alternative Box Art Revealed
The Limited Edition Comic Book Guy Head box art for the season 12 DVD release has finally been revealed by TvShowsOnDVD.com.
The set will be released on August 18th in the US and Canada, along with the standard version of the set, featuring Comic Book Guy in a superman-like pose. I think it looks good, but this is now the first ‘head box’ which includes the characters FULL HEAD. The previous ones were subtle and were like the character was peeking up from the bottom. The Krusty one strayed from the five family sets in this regard somewhat, but even this one will look weird next to the Krusty one.
If Comic Book Guy isn’t immediately recognizable from the mouth upwards they shouldn’t have used him in the first place.

I am certain that season 13 of the simpsons dvd boxset
will be a M15+.

some characters i want to see on future seasons- moe, mr. burns, ralph, wiggum, apu, milhouse(maybe), barney(maybe), lenny and carl, flanders, Dr. Hibbert, Dr. Nick I figure those will get us through 23 seasons (24 if Lenny and Carl are on separate seasons)

When it comes out I will be running to the shop to get the normal box with superman-like Comic Book Guy.
One of the best episodes from this season has got to be Trilogy of Error. Which was better than most trilogy episodes (except for Treehouse of Horrors of course)

i luvvit, the dark red and light blue go well and it will stick out at every electronics new release shelf, which will help boost sales.

Seriously, why CBG of all people?! Why not Ralph, Mr. Burns, Patty/Selma or the countless other beloved Springfieldians out there?
CBG’s just a one-dimensional tertiary character and he was never (nor was he ever supposed to be) likeable.
Plus, I haven’t been able to bring myself to buy season 11 yet due to all the issues people have had with it. Any news on whether or not FOX will be producing an improved box design?
