Marge Simpson to Appear on Cover of Playboy
Marge Simpson will be the first ever cartoon character to make the front cover of Playboy Magazine this month when the issue celebrates the 20th Anniversary of The Simpsons. The issue, due out Friday, October 16th, will feature a story inside called “The Devil in Marge Simpson” and another three pages of pictures.
The Simpsons made its series debut in the Winter of 1989, making it 20 years old this December. The series was renewed by Fox this year for a further 2 seasons, which will make it the ripe old age of 23 in 2012.

Marge already has been on a cover of a man magazine, but not as provocative as Playboy, but I don’t think it’s a bad idea.

Stuff like this is making me loose respect to my FAVOURITE, SHOW, EVER. Putting Marge in Playboy is a bad idea because it will make all the retarded excessive christian mothers of America try to turn public opinion into thinking that the Simpsons is filth. I believe that the Simpsons should remain as the typical American family, and the typical american family doesn’t have the mother of the family posing for Playboy. This is a terrible idea no matter how you look at it.
Only really a publicity stunt by Playboy. @Crawford – I don’t think it’ll harm the Simpsons itself, I believe everyone who will read the magazine knows who the cover gal is. I can’t remember where I read it, but it was something to bring the average age of readers of the magazine down.

I love the simpsons I have my whole life and Marge appearing on PLAYBOY isn’t a bad idea sure she is a cartoon i don’t read playboy but hell if Marge is in it hell I would read for sure

I like Fox’s 20 years of the Simpsons advertisements and promotions so far.
