Season 20 DVD/Blu-Ray Box Art
The official box art for The Simpsons: The Complete Twentieth Season has today been revealed by Amazon.com. Only one box type is available at this time and we are yet to learn whether or not there will be a limited edition box. But judging by the box art itself, our guess is that this is it for the Season 20 release.
A release date is still not know, but a December or Late November release now looks more likely than ever. We’ll keep you posted as soon as we know more.

Maybe the Ulman Shorts will be included in the release!
Awesome… When they get to s19 on DVD, I wonder if they will then go to S21 or repeat S20 again, but this time keep the same style as seasons 16-19.
Or for season 16-19 they could have…
“16 YEARS…the complete 16th season”
“17 YEARS…the complete 17th season”
ETC.
Like the style of the cover, but why do they always use that side of the cast poster? What’s wrong with the other one?

any dvd release is great i am hoping though that they will go back and release 13-19
I don’t know what to think about it if I’m honest. Whilst I like the nicely done detail of the 20 years bit. I am unsure about the use of the cast poster thingy. Maybe a clever montage of the best bits from the last 20 years may have been a better idea. Or it could have been complex, I don’t know myself.
@Dominic – I’d have thought they are using that design as 20 years of a show is a signifigant milestone in television, perhaps 16, 17…. less so.
@RevLovejoy – I suspect it is on that side because that is where the main characters are on. Saying that, I don’t think it has Maggie.
This is very nice cover, but as some fans said, it’s not as good as they expected.
I think that the best possible solution for this 20 th season was making of a variant covers. Some of them could be like this they’ve made as official, some of them could be traditional (as we had for all past seasons on DVD), and some could have, as Gaulty said, some nice montage of the best scenes of the all past seasons.
With only one box, I don’t think that their job is totally complete…
this looks so cool but i am not worried about them not issuing season 13-19 on dvd i believe they decided to issue season 20 to celebrate 20 seasons of the simpsons this will be a must have for me as a simpsons fan
I think it looks good. I dont care how bad some episodes get… I will still get the DVD box sets because i already have seasons 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, and the movie on DVD.
