Simpsons/Coke Super Bowl Advert

Montgomery Burns took center stage last night, starring in a campaign from Coca-Cola tied to this year’s Super Bowl. In the commercial, which can be watched above, Mr. Burns faces the loss of his fortune and worldly belongings and learns to appreciate lifes simple pleasures like friends, family and of course, Coca-Cola.

Very good commercial, I do like how it also doesn’t focus on the Simpson family either.

Good music as well, can’t work out what it is though…?

Surprisingly, I liked it, and I usually hate any form of product placement in tv shows. The piece at the end with Milhouse was great.

This is very nice promotion either for Simpsons and Coca Cola. I don’t think that Simpsons sold their proud by appearing in this promo, in fact it’s a great honor for them to appear in such a big event that Super Ball is. I hope that show is going to keep up with intensive promoting, it’s great way to get more viewers, and maybe to keep the old ones.
