Season 13 Limited Edition Box Art

The limited edition box art for The Complete Thirteenth Season has been revealed, which includes the ‘three-dimensional’ Ralph Wiggum head we’ve suspected since the set was announced.

The limited edition box is only available for the DVD version of the set, so Blu-Ray owners will get less selection this time around. The set will be released on August 24. Further details are available in our original post.

      same here i got all of the first 12 seasons im getting normal 13 and all i need is 6 cuz i sold the homer head and need to find it in normal box

    If this limited edition head is like the one with krusty… you can remove the head part (it’s just a sticky gel paste holding it on which peels right off). I have the 3D krusty head on a shelf and then the dvd box (which is the same design as the non limited edition) put with my other seasons. It’s not like the Homer & Marge head boxes.

    Homer Simpson was named the greatest character of the past 20 years by Entertainment Weekly. I just thought it’d be interesting news to post.

      I submitted that news a few days ago… but this website’s owners don’t seem too interested or passionate about The Simpsons as they only post news surrounding DVDs and Episodes (at least it seems that way).

      it’s good enough news for the BBC, CNN, ABC, Blogs all over the internet, but THE SIMPSONS CHANNEL fails to post it – they should be one of the first!

    Why don’t people realize that in five years when ‘hopefully’ the series will end there will be a Simpsons box set to purchase with bonus material.

      Because most fans don’t want to wait 5 years for a box set when they can get the next season with plenty of bonus material on it. The Simpsons has plenty of bonus material on all the seasons – most impressive is the fact they do deleted scenes with and without commentary.

    I love the collector head dvd box sets. I will buy it and hope the Simpsons carries on forever, it brings laughs and smiles to millions of fans the world over.

    Am going to get them on Blu-ray because that is the future of 1080p24f should look and sound great and am not a big fan of the head they look ugly .
