3D Maggie Simpson Short coming to the Big Screen

On July 17th, movie-goers seeing Ice Age: Continental Drift will be treated to a brand new 4 Minute 3D short silent film featuring none other than Maggie Simpson.

Al Jean Spoke to Entertainment Weekly about the short film.

“Jim Brooks thought we should do an animated short — a la the ones Pixar does before their features, a la the cartoons you used to see in the theater years ago — as a fun thing to give our fans”.  The film, titled “The Longest Daycare”, was directed by David Silverman.  The only chance to see this will be in 3D theaters. However, a 2D version will show at Comic Con in July.

Yes so sad if you allow this to happen. Something all educators should view and reflect upon. Negative impacts both emotionally and developmentally can occure if we allow them to.
