Simpsons/Coke Super Bowl Advert

Montgomery Burns took center stage last night, starring in a campaign from Coca-Cola tied to this year’s Super Bowl. In the commercial, which can be watched above, Mr. Burns faces the loss of his fortune and worldly belongings and learns to appreciate lifes simple pleasures like friends, family and of course, Coca-Cola.

Ratings: ‘5.11 Million’ Dollar Maybe

In the space of three weeks, The Simpsons can go from having its highest ratings in five years, to the lowest ratings of all time in the very next episode. Last night’s episode drew a meager 5.11 million viewers. Seeing an animated Coldplay or a ‘viewer-designed’ character couldn’t save the show, and indeed, Fox, from being slaughtered by the competition.

Season 20 DVD & Blu-Ray Out Now
