Right now, the only other information available is limited, but it will put many fans’ minds at rest when they learn that all 22 episodes will feature commentaries, meaning the DVD releases are back to form since the farce that was the Season 20 release in January.

So grab a donut and pull up a couch to see Lisa becoming a Buddhist, Bart living in a plastic bubble, Homer doing community service (which lands him in the electric chair) and the Simpsons offending the entire nation of Brazil, plus your favorite couch gags and a slew of celebrity guest voices!

As usual, the set will feature 4 discs. The suggested retail price is $49.98. However, there will also be a Blu-ray release, which will feature just 3 discs; you’ll pay an extra $10 for an upgrade to HD sound quality and a slightly crisper picture, though still in the original 1:33:1 aspect ratio.

When a bomb squad mistakenly blows up Homer’s unattended gym bag, releasing radiation into the city, authorities install an overload of surveillance cameras – which her majesty the queen (guest voice Eddie Izzard) enjoys as a reality tv show — to deter future terrorist acts in Springfield.

A new episode of Family Guy took home the gold for the third consecutive week, with 6.66 million watching; The Cleveland Show was behind The Simpsons with a viewership of 5.04 million. Fox was 4th overall on the night, and 2nd in both the Adults 18-34 and 18-49 Rating/Share.

There was no new episode of American Dad yet again; the show is currently on a hiatus while Fox gives new sitcom Sons of Tucson a chance; however, with ratings dropping below 4 million last night, you could be forgiven for reliving Sit Down, Shut Up’s fate all over again.

Lisa’s classmates ostracize her for being an overachiever but the First Lady Michelle Obama (guest voice Angela Bassett) comes to Lisa’s defense. Meanwhile, Bart’s crush Nikki (guest voice Sarah Silverman) sends him mixed signals when she surprises him with a kiss.

A repeat of Family Guy managed to surpass The Simpsons, with 6.30 million; an all-new American Dad took in 5.64 million, and a new The Cleveland Show finished in final place, with ratings of 5.60 million. Fox was fourth overall on the night, and second in the 18-34 demographic.

Homer takes Marge out for a romantic evening of ice skating and hand-holding, but upon entering the rink, they encounter a curling team practicing. Marge and Homer take to the ice and discover their love for the sport, and soon after, join the curling team and compete with them in the Olympic trials. Team Springfield claims the win and moves on to the 2010 Vancouver Games where Bob Costas (guest-voicing as himself) covers the action. Meanwhile, sleazy vendors introduce Lisa to the world of collecting Olympic pins, and before long, Lisa is hopelessly addicted.
