Treehouse Of Horror XIX, the nineteenth Simpsons Halloween special will air tomorrow night in Northern America. To reward your patience, Fox have delivered three previews from the episode; one preview for “How To Go Ahead In Dead-Vertising”, and two for “It’s The Grand Pumpkin, Milhouse”. All videos can be viewed from our video panel to the right of this post.

The Simpsons executive producer Al Jean is set to appear as a headliner at the Bradford Animation Festival in Bradford, England this coming November 12. Al will take part in a question-and-answer session with an audience followed by a screening of a favourite episode of The Simpsons, voted for by fans.

The image above has been released today in promotion of Treehouse Of Horror XIX, the 19th Treehouse Of Horror installment which airs on November 2, 2008. In this year’s chilling trio of Halloween tales, Homer kills off celebrities so their likenesses can be exploited free-of-charge in “How to Get Ahead in Dead-Vertising”.

Today, October 7, sees the release of The Simpsons season 11 box set in the USA and Canada. The set was released yesterday in region 2, but those of you living in region 4 will have to wait a bit longer for the set; November 5th, 2008. The set is actually slightly thinner than the preceeding releases, and instead greatly resembles the season 1 box set in thickness.

A promo image for the upcoming Simpsons episode “Lost Verizon” was released today. The episode airs this Sunday, October 5th.

Bart gets a job at a country club so he can buy a cell phone like the rest of the kids. When Bart accidentally finds Denis Leary’s cell phone, he keeps it to make prank calls and negotiate big career moves. When Leary finds out what happened, he sends Bart and the Simpson family on a wild goose chase all the way to Machu Picchu.

In a recent conference call, Al Jean spoke about what we can expect to see from both season 20 of The Simpsons and the show’s future in general. Jean spoke about the possible return of Plopper the Pig from The Simpsons Movie, writing for the character of Ned Flanders, another Simpsons movie which may be in the works, The Simpsons Ride and even the possibility of the Simpson kids ever growing up.
