They revealed this back in November that it was coming to console. It's also going to have an English or Japanese option. :-) Apparently after the success of the iPhone game (which was based on the arcade game) they realized there were folks still interested in the original. Such a bizarre concept that went nowhere. It resembled the "3 stories" style, but had unrelated storylines interspersed. Suprisingly sloppy. We'll give 'em a mulligan on this one.
