Treehouse Of Horror XVII Leaked Online
Next Sunday's episode, Treehouse Of Horror XVII, has just joined a short list of Fox shows which have been leaked to the internet, more than a week before it is due to air on North American screens. After both the Season Premiere of Family Guy Season 4 and the Family Guy straight-to-dvd movie were released and widespread onto the net via BitTorrent mid-last year, Fox had another leak on their hands when The O.C. Season 3 premiere was released to the net 4 days before its television airdate. Treehouse Of Horror XVII has already been highly publicised on the net via a number of promotions by Fox, right down to a competition on the official website which allows entrants to view the bulk of the episode in order to make their own promo. Die hard fans have been able to piece together most of the episode themselves, but now they don't have to, if they know where to look. Of course, we're not going to tell you exactly how to obtain the leaked episode, that would be unethical. But now that it's out there, nothing can stop the power of BitTorrent's ability to spread like wildfire, and we're sure Fox will be investigating the leak further to stop this happening in future.

In an interview with Long Island Press, Matt Groening has revealed that actor Steve Buscemi will once again lend his voice to the show this season. "I’m actually coming to Los Angeles and going to help record the voice of Steve Buscemi who’s going to be playing a part in an episode of The Simpsons later this season as well as…I’m not supposed to say this until we record them but I’m taking a chance." said Groening. Buscemi last had a very brief appearance in Season 14's "Brake My Wife, Please" alongside Jackson Browne, voicing himself. Groening also uses the interview to discuss the Simpsons and Futurama movie projects as well as general questions about the shows. It's a good read and you can view it in its entirety here.
