This archive dates back to December 1997, when The Simpsons Channel first opened. From then until October 2002, it focused primarily on reporting about the latest websites and designs. The focus has since switched to news of all kinds, and you'll find news about the show now outweighs that on websites. Naturally, as the web progresses, sites come and go, and as such most of the links from previous years will not exist anymore. We understand this, but hope the following archive is of use to you. Screenshots came into affect immediately at the beginning of 2000, when our third design was implemented.

Many of the news stories linked from our show news are to external sites, and as their urls change and databases are updated, articles are often lost, but not missing. Try using search features on those individual sites if an article you are looking for gives you a dead link.
