Season 20 DVD/Blu-Ray Box Art

The official box art for The Simpsons: The Complete Twentieth Season has today been revealed by Amazon.com. Only one box type is available at this time and we are yet to learn whether or not there will be a limited edition box. But judging by the box art itself, our guess is that this is it for the Season 20 release.

A release date is still not know, but a December or Late November release now looks more likely than ever. We’ll keep you posted as soon as we know more.

Season 12 Standard Box Art Revealed

Thanks to TVShowsOnDVD, today sees the reveal of the standard box art for The Complete Twelfth Season on DVD, featuring Comic Book Guy in a Superman-esque pose.

While there is no confirmed US release date as of yet, Amazon UK lists the set with a September 28th release date.

Expect a Comic Book Guy head version to accompany the release.

Season 11 Standard Art – With Krusty

The mystery of the Season 11 DVD standard packaging continues, as we’ve yet to see an official box art for the United States. Simpsons Park have today shown the French cover which was provided by Fox. This one ties in with the limited edition packaging, unlike the previously leaked Homer cover.

Since two Australian stores are now showing the previously revealed Homer packaging in a slip case, we’re assuming this may be exclusive Region 4 packaging. Or, a fake. Surely we’ll know soon enough!

Season 11 Limited Box Art Revealed

Still no word on whether the standard box art will be the same in North America as it is in Australia, but given this box is clearly labeled ‘Limited’, there is alternate packaging and it may indeed be the one below.

Season 11 Standard Box Art Revealed

The standard box art for The Complete Eleventh Season has been revealed online for the first time by Australian retailer JB HIFI. The image to the left shows the new style of standard packaging — a clear slipcase with the number ’11′ written on it, encasing a standard cardboard box featuring Homer. We’ll update this story as soon as a larger resolution version is available.

This ‘Homer’ box may contradict yesterdays announcement of a Krusty head box. That is still assumed to be the plan for the limited edition box, but as you can see, standard and limited edition boxes appear to no longer share the same character. We’d expect Marge, Maggie, Lisa, and Bart on the standard boxes for seasons 12, 13, 14, and 15 respectively.

This is the box art for The Simpsons Movie DVD, also available on Blu-Ray. It is available in the USA on December 18, UK on December 10, and Australia on December 5.

Official Simpsons Game Box Arts

Official box arts for the latest Simpsons video game, creatively titled The Simpsons Game, have been revealed by Electronic Arts. The game will be released on six different platforms this fall, and each system’s box art has its own unique cover art. The official website for the game can be found here.
